how much does it cost to send text abroad to the UK from the USA with a sprint phone?

i actually have unlimited text, abroad text included?
my sprint is a USA phone, and the person in UK has a UK phone
 
international texts are 20 cents per text message, incoming and outgoing. gets expensive fast. something you can do instead is instead of sending to the phone number 0117571515555 sent to 0117571515555 @mail.carrier.uk.co .... or whatever their phone's email address is.
