How much is the insurance fee for an used 600cc sport bike in SC?

I'm going to SC to pursue my phd degree. I want to have a bike as my full-time transportation. But my friend told me the insurance fee for a bike is much higher than that for a car. I want to buy a 2002 YZF R6, don't know how much the insurance fee would be in SC. And I'm turning 25 this fall.
