How often should i train my muscles?

I mean is it good to train the same muscles daily. Because i train the same muscles from Monday to Friday and doing this weekly. Or would it damage my muscles?

Normally for each day i do:
5 sets of 20 push ups
5 sets of 5 chin ups
10 sets of 20 crunches

Is this bad for my muscles since i'm only giving it a day for it to rest and resting on the weekends or is it ok? If it is bad then could you suggest what is better?

You should do one area of a muscle once a week. So if you do chest, dont do it until the next week. You can work abs every day though. They are the quickest muscle to recover.
