I never did because my parents had a son nine years before I was born and he was killed on his tricycle aged three. My mother wrapped me up in cotton wool but I can't blame her for it really.

This is really sad, but I was 12.

I learned when I was 11. I know, I'm a late starter. But, I didn't have training wheels so that was fun. I rode my new bike all day up and down the street and eventually got the knack of it at the end of the day. I do remember going home with quite a few battle scars all over my body but it was so worth it. Lol
