Ok so I have finally accepted the fact that I am a lesbian and I want to tell my one friend the truth. I know she will be supportive, but I don't know how to go about telling her and I don't want things to change between us. How do I tell her without making her think I have a crush on her and should I tell her now? Where should I tell her, should we go out somewhere or should it be at one of our houses or school ext. She would be the first person I am going to tell that I am a lesbian. Oh and I am 17 if that matters.
So, any thoughts?

best think to do is come out as soon as possible. that way the sooner everyone acccepts u as u r :)

You should not feel obligated to tell people what your sexual orientation is.
Who you like should be your business.
And don't be so quick to put a label on yourself.

I'd try to find someplace where you could be alone and not distracted...home might be good, but there's always the risk of someone walking in or interrupting..

But I would get a magazine like vogue or something and start looking through it...then when you find a picture of a woman that is attractive to you, point it out to your friend and say something like "what do you think of her?" or comment "I think she is beautiful" then I would follow up with "She's my crush" and see where it goes from there.
