How should I greet the audience?

I'm competing in a singing competition very soon and I'd like to greet the audience, but I'm not sure what to say. Any ideas?

I would say be yourself :D do everything with your heart. Treat them as your friends, thats how I have done for my piano competition.

Remember always be polite to the audience.
 
Chat to them, and try putting a wee bit of humour in there as well. It will relax them, and more importantly, relax yourself.

Some rapper once greeted with: "Thank you for being here today, you could have been anywhere in the world, but you're here with me and I appreciate it."

That was cute. Maybe something funny to liven he crowd. It should just be like

1) A greeting. Hey, Hi, Hello, Yo, Good-evening
2) A thanking. Thank you for your time
3) Introduction. Name. Song you're singing etc.
4) Extra cute saying, quote, joke, one-liner eg. Please put 911 on speed dial because I'm hoping my performance will be mind-blowing
