How should I start my introduction on why 2 religions can coexist?

The religions are supposed to be Evolution, and just another religion. This prompt is based off a book called 'Inherit The Wind'.

Just as a pedantic point, evolution is not a religion. As for two religions coexisting:

No one KNOWS which religion is correct, which is why people BELIEVE and have FAITH. Acceptance of the fact that other people believe differently breeds coexistence.

As for evolution and religion coexisting, possibly bring up the point that it is possible for a creator to have created the universe and then evolution began from his/her/its creations.

well, evolution is not a religion.

however i see what your paper concerns.

you should start with "it would be possible only if neither of those religions believe as part of their dogma that the other is subject to their beliefs. none shall be condemned to hell, said to be incapable of enlightenment, or claim that the other are inferior from a darwinian perspective. any and all religions who hold on to these claims will disappear as time goes on. this is inevitable. one who claims their beliefs come from a supreme authority, be it devine or scientific, or are above the scrutiny of the believer, will surely disagree with someone, and as time goes on, will be phased out naturally."

1, Evolution is not a religion. Fact is that many christians, jews, and peoples of other belief systems do accept evolution.
#2 Here's your intro: "Until any given religion can RESPECT any other religion's right to believe in the way they do, that given religion will NEVER co-exist with anyone else". From there, you can point out that the ONLY way two religions can coexist is if they DO recognize/respect each others right to their beliefs. And this is very unlikely to happen anytime soon.
Blessings on your Journey!

How can Evolution co exist with another religion. Is that a monotheist or polytheist religion? Hindus will embrace new gods to add to those they already pray too. But im not sure how they'd handle evolution. Medical Science is beginning to see a connection between God and science...they are just beginning...
Evolution is at odds with many Monotheist faiths.
I would ask a question:

Can two religions ( beliefs ) co exist?
