how to build a styrofoam boat?

what is the best design for a styrofoam boat powered by a sail? The boat must be able to sustain a maximum amount of load and should travel a maximum distance. The materials to be used are 18" X 12" X 1" styrofoam, a plastic bag and wooden sticks.

i hav alys wanted to do that
i wood layer the foam tell near 3-4 (depending on how Mitch weight you will put in it) feet thick the carve out the sent er and carve off the outer shel and then rein force it with 1/8 in ply wood from the in side it will add weight but worth it you could glue a few layers of stick like popsicle a permid like block of wood will be need to hold up the sail just drill a hole in the center
