How to burn a movie from Windows Live Movie Maker on a DVD to watch it on T.V.?

I made a 25minute movie/video of our vacation and i want to burn it on a DVD so i can send it to Australia so my family can see it.
I already saved the project, and i tried to "save movie" > "burn DVD" but it freezes at 99% during the saving process.
I don't know what else to do, but please give a step by step and detailed answers so i can understand how to do it.

Windows live movie maker takes a long time to make the dvd and burn it... my advice is if you have the video saved on your computer just send it via email... or transfer it to windows media player and burn it off their with a a dvd not a cd... but when you burn it like that it will only work in certain dvd players because you are burning it as a data and not an actuall movie
