If you are looking in for a new firearm then your choices are limited.
The Browning T-Bolt Target/Varmint is in your price range

Also if you just headed down to your local gun shop and ask they could probably show you a few models by Howa and other cheap brands. As for accuracy and stainless you may not got these for that price.

My Advice would be to try the used guns market, check a few local stores or go online to www.usedguns.com.au. Used guns are a fair bit cheaper and have better quality brands for less.

Savage makes a Stainless bull type barrel, laminate thumb hole stock, Accu-trigger equipped 17HMR. I don't have the model number handy but it should be easy to find. I think it is around $570 US, but again, just do a search for it. This type rifle with good optics will single hole groups to 100 yards and be able to take out coyotes to 150 yards. The gun shop owners I've talked to about it rave about it.

1000 AU$ = 700 US$

I would go with a Browning T-Bolt Target/Varmint
