that have no amp power on? am planning to connect my kenwood amplifier to the genuine car stereo and i found a speakers level input in my amplifier (Kenwood KAC-749S) but i still have to find a way to connect the power on lead ?

you could use a rocker switch (on off) and hook it to an open space on your fuse block or to the battery with a fuse and run it thru the firewall to the switch that you will find a place near the instrument cluster then bach to the amp.
the only other way is pulling the deck and with a multimeter find the wire that turns the deck on, there are 3 power wires on is the ground one is 12v. continous hot and the last powers on when you turn the ignition to the on or acc. position.
make sure it is fused and run in a safe manner under the carpet, 18 gauge should be best a 5 amp fuse should work.
