How to fix ALT+D in Firefox 4?

I use ALT+D a lot to reach my address bar. For some reason, it doesn't work right in firefox 4. How do I fix it? I've tried looking into the keyconfig extension, but it shows Alt-D as being binded to the address bar as well as Ctrl-L, so shouldn't they both work?

I find ALT+D only sometimes works, but Ctrl-L works always.. weird. It's really bothersome and I want them both to work.
