ok guys I need some input and opinion as well. I have a short-term career goal and a long-term career goal...for short-term, I want to specialize in three areas: personal fitness, massage therapy, and nutrition. I want to combine those three practices and work at a wellness center/gym/spa, etc. Can you please give me more info on how to achieve these goals (where to apply to school, the cost, the length of education, certification required, pay, etc.). I really really want to do all three at once, so how can I make this possible? Long-term, I want to go to medical school and become a surgeon. I think getting a solid foundation in the health and fitness field is great because I will be able to financially support myself if needed while taking care of my body and doing what I love. I think having a background in fitness, nutrition, and massage will look good when I apply to med school because I can back up my passion for health and well-being with actions, not just words. Furthermore, being a massage therapist means my hands will develop strength and exceptional dexterity, which is very useful for a surgeon. Oh and I plan to work towards my biochemistry degree as well, one-two classes per semester because I have other things on my plate (already finished 1.5 years of college woot woot!) So what do you guys think about my plans? Can you give me any advice please as to how to make my dreams come true? Thank you :-)
