How to get dog to stop peeing in crate?

I have a little female Papillon who's been at my house for about a month or so. Her owner/breeder always had her in a small kennel with a wire bottom so she learned to eliminate in her kennel. Now, I have an X-pen set up for her with a crate in the corner, the crate has a bed (small crate, by the way) and the door is open all the time. I let the dogs out in the morning before I go to school, and again after I get home, and various times after that.

BUT, she continues to pee in her crate. I don't mind peeing in the pen because I can mop it out, but the crate is where she's gonna be at shows and stuff. Plus, the door is open on the crate in her pen.

Any idea?
