How to get rid of envelope icon on LG keybo? No message in inbox.?

My lg keybo all of a sudden popped up with an envelope icon, but the thing is i looked in my inbox and there is no new messages. I even cleared it but said no message to delete can someone plese help me with this.

shit man i have the same problem, i got it today when i downloaded a ring tone form the telus site and it sent a link to the phone and it didnt download properly. soo im suck with that logo :( aslo my drafts cant be erased.... crappy phone, more cons then pros, not worth the trouble. i have tried takin the battery out, no use... and i reset the whole phone and it still wont go away.
 
I have the same problem right now! I love the phone, but this is annoying.
