So a couple weeks ago I was putting my horn away after band practice and I noticed my lower lip had a little cut in the middle. I play a woodwind, so I made sure that there was no splinters in my lip from the reed; there wasn't any. I figured it would heal on its own after a while. It was doing well, but then I came down with a cold and my lips get very dry so the cut re-opened and now it's hurting a bit.
Anyone have an idea to help heal the cut?
