How to install .tar.gz file in pc?

Dear frndz. I recently downloaded a math software from brothersoft.com, named "maxima.tar.gz". I opend it by means of winrar and extrcted all the file. But there is no .exe file. How to run it? How to install it corectly? Plz give me detailed answer. Thanx in advance.
