Hello,
I'm going to write an essay about Kangxi emperor of Qing Dynasty of China and his sons.
I've done several research about this period in history due to my interest in them.
Although I think Kangxi and his sons' story is very intriguing, I'm afraid that others might not think so (eg. my teacher)
I'm a Taiwanese, my teacher who assigned me an essay is an American, but it's me who eventually choose this topic.
I know this kind of essay material is easy to make others bored. But I want to know is there any tips for writing an essay about something like this ? How to intrigue the reader? And what to mention, besides Kangxi's contribution, famous deeds and his sons' conflicts?
I know it's a tough question.
But if someone can give me some useful information, that would be thankful.
