I recently bought a new pair of hiking boots. I have been on a few day hikes with them totaling about 20 miles. The boots feel great everywhere on my feet except my little toes on both feet. I have gotten blisters on the outside of both little toes. I tried using moleskin before a blister has formed which prevented a blister from forming, but there was still pain in the area after the hike.
Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Or is this a case where I will just need to return the boots? It's too bad because the boots feel great everywhere else.
Also wanted to add that I've been using wool socks with liners with these boots.
