How to record/burn a DVD, 90x, nsanity on iMac?

I have an iMac version 10.6.4. Mac OS X.
I'm looking to borrow and copy a friends nsanity workout.
What type of software is needed to copy this?
Also, if you have a video camera with a USB, would you be able to copy it to camera thru the usb?(then upload it back that way?)
 
The answer to the second question is no. First you can't designate a USB port as an output and second a video camera wouldn't use USB as an input. The only way a video camera can record input is through the A/V connector. And you need to buy a higher end model to get that feature. AND even with the ability to record through the A/V input, video cameras won't record copyrighted material. SO to do that you'd need an external device to strip out the copy protection.
