My fam and I all have sprint phones unlocked we are using overseas. The bold 9930 bold 9650 and tour 9630, we all have the same message "activation required" I want to remove this and also beable to change the phone number in voicemail..
You need the MSL code, Oh My, this drove me crazy too, finally i found http://www.ProMobileMotion.com and got something called the MSL code from these guys in minutes, this is the Master Dealer code & not anyone can get it within minutes like those guys, but since they are a blackberry dealer i guess they have access to these codes.
Your other option is to call Sprint and BEG THEM for the code, but you will need the Original owner of the phone, and even if you have the original owner of the phone, they may still not give it to you, and you will be on hold for hours!
