How to rip an Anime DVD without having a lot of files?

Okay. What I want is to rip my anime DVDs to my computer without having 1000 VOB. files. I have to break all the episodes up one by one and save them to my PS3. Right now I have a bunch of "DBZ D1" folders that all have a ton of 15 minute files in them. I want to make my collection like a torrent your download were each file is one episode. Sorry if I sound redundant, I just want my question to be clear. No, I don't care about having both language tracks. I'm a dub fan and the PS3 won't support subtitles anyway. BTW I'm using a macbook pro and have tried "mac the ripper" THANK YOU ALL!
