How to turn on the bluetooth on my Acer Aspire 5738/5338 laptop?

My laptop has a button with a bluetooth sign on it
But every time I press the button it just comes up with a red cross
And there's nothing in the control panel for bluetooth settings
Does my laptop actually have bluetooth?
And if so how do I turn it on? (:
Any help would be much appreciated as I'm trying to connect my new phone to it :D

I have an aspire 5338 and am trying to switch bluetooth on but when I click the bluetooth button I get a red cross on the screen. There is no bluetooth setting in the control panel. How do I switch it on, if I have it? Any help much appreciated :confused:
