How to write mp4 directly to dvd disk?

I don't have a blu-ray burner so I cannot create a dvd with this size of file without some serious quality lose. My cousin has a bluray dvd player that plays MP4 files so i want to ass this file to a regular dvd WITHOUT reEncoding it. Simple drag & drop. I try but windows wont let me. its sony dvd+r & 3gb mp4 file..
