how will i burn powerpoint presentation to a cd to play on dvd?

Good day ma'am/sir;

I created a powerpoint presentation using microsoft powerpoint with pictures and videos of my daughter's graduation. How will i burn it on cd? I searched for the answer on the net and it says that if I directly burn the presentation on a cd using nero, It will not play on any dvd. It should be first converted on a dvd format and then burn it on cd. Can I use xilisoft video converter ultimate 6 to convert it and after burn it on nero startsmart so that i can watch it on tv using any dvd players? What file type should I use?

I have used one PPT to Video Burner (http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/ ) which is quite good. With a tutoring interface, it is very easy to use, after added the powerPoint, just choose "Create Standard DVD", and you can choose a suitable format by countries.Or check this map on which format to choose according to countries:

Then you can add music, menus and burn the powerpoint to DVD with this PPT to DVD burner.
