How will Michael Moore and other Hollywood celebrities write off their taxes now?

I'm sure the likes of Moore doesn't mind giving for the benefit of others.

With power and money comes great responsibilities...otherwise you're just an overstuffed toad.

He's about delivering a message and exposing the gluttons.

If it was about money he'd have a pink cadillac and sex chamber in the basement or attend summer camp wearing black robes praying to risen again goddesses of the underworld....or hanging with the other elite club of pointy heads all of whom enjoy their yearly Bilderberg conferences.

Ah is Oprah complaining? Guess she just remembered she's one of those having to spread the wealth. Guess she'll have to give up one of her villas she never has time for anyhow. She'd be better off giving up a meal or two.

Michael Moore should be celebrating. He is getting more from Obama than he ever hoped for.
Now he just has to figure out how to pay for it.
Maybe he should join whoopi Goldberg in complaining about Obama's taxes?

Most liberals don't give a lot to charity anyway so they probably won't even notice. Conservatives on the other hand will take a big hit at tax time..

I'm just curious how so many of you know about the tax returns of people in Hollywood? I was under the impression that Bill and Melinda Gates were the largest contributors to any charity in the US. Why don't you make fun of them?

No, people making over $250,000 can still take charitable write offs. It just changes the amount they can take. It's really not that much:

The Obama plan would cap the value of deductions for families making $250,000 and up. Under current law, a $1,000 deduction is worth up to $350 for such taxpayers, because they can avoid tax rates of up to 35% on that income. The Obama cap on deductions would make the $1,000 deduction worth a maximum of $280.

An $80 decrease per $1,000. I think they can handle it.

Even Whoopi on the Veiw was complaining about Obama and his tax-raping plan, and she was a supporter.

Liberals had problems with the old tax code (Willie Nelson, Wesley Snipes, U2, Helmsley, Geitner, Daschle, ect.) I can only imagine what juicy news stories will now appear.
