Will it be panic in the malls when maxed out credit cards are taken away at the check out stand.

Eventually it'll result in happier folk. The first segment is goig to be a bumpy ride though.

I've been eyeing a new "gadget" for months now. Can't afford it, I would rather feed my family then play with a new toy, but that doesn't mean I wont get it some time down the line. I'll guess I'll just have to do it the old fashioned way, save up for it.

Lay a ways-like years ago-you waited till u could afford it-we all survived-the others can learn this 'new' behavior, too. No one ever died because they couldn't charge-they might think they will-but, no, they won't-its called self-control, being wise and waiting. Just learning to WAIT. I have no credit card bills and Iam just fine-paid all mine off years ago. Freedom is wonderful.

They don't take your card away at the check out stand, that's theft. But they will deny you your purchase.

It is long past time that we all learned to live without credit cards.
