Is this when somebody asks a question and answers it themself in order to make a statement while bashing the opposing beliefs that others have? If this is the case than I have been guilty of making rants however I have brought up many valid points that christians have made the decision to dodge while making baseless assertions and labeling my argument as nothing more than a rant due to the fact that they cannot provide a solid, concrete answer as to why my statement are invalid in their eyes.
Curtis has the best answer of the day in my informed opinon.

To go on and on about a topic in a manner that others are likely to find tiresome or objectionable. To lecture, or preach.

Yes, there is a lot of it here. It's supposed to be against the rules but a lot of people seem to get away with it.

90% of the questions here are thinly-disguised rants. The other 10% are rants not disguised at all.
