It started 3 years ago. My husband won a pair of round trip tickets to anywhere in North America. We planned on a trip but then I got a job and could not go. So he used the tickets to go on a hunting trip with his brother.
Last year, he planned another trip because his brother was alone after his wife was deployed. Recently, my husband told me that he intended to take a week's vacation to visit his brother and hunt.
I asked if this would be an annual thing - he only gets two weeks vacation. I don't think he should plan on going every year. We have two small children and we both work, so family time is limited. I think he should take time for us.
My husband is mad at me and says that I am being selfish. He deserves his vacation. He works hard etc. I know some people will say that I should take a week away, but frankly, I would rather be with my family. Should I just let him go every year or take a stand. RIght now I am saying no. He can go next year.
