That would be a good name if she turns out to be a gnome :P.

Otherwise she'll be explaining that name to everyone for her entire life.
 
gadget is a cute nickname. but honestly i dnt think u should name her that, unless u want ppl to make fun of her. no offence

Yeah... Gadget is anything but cute, sorry. It's not a name and its tacky imo. This is a child, not a hobby, she deserves a real name.
 
I don't want to offend anyone, but I'm not a big fan of this name. I do think it's cute, but I instantly thought of the 80's cartoon "Inspector Gadget" and started to hear the theme song in my head. Your daughter would have a significant chance of being teased if called Gadget. This name would probably be better suited for a pet. Perhaps it could be a special nickname that only your husband calls her? Hope this helps!

No. Nothing cute about Gadget as formal name. I usually try to be diplomatic,but that's tantamount to child abuse.

I'm worried he'll want to name any future boy "Tool."
 
There is no way i would name my daughter Gadget
whatever you do dont name the baby Gadget

It could be a cute nickname, but if you hate it, it's definitely important to compromise on something you both like.
 
Um, no. That won't work at all.

What about Piper? It has 'pipe' in it. If he works with plumbing at all...
 
Gadget is cute..and there are always nicknames. It is unique and I think it is pretty cool.
