Husband is a Marine, I Want to Enlist in Different Branch. Advice?

In November of 2008 my husband and I were both looking into joining the military together. The plan was to go Army. I found out I was pregnant a week before our appointment to meet with a recruiter, so obviously I wouldn't be enlisting. Well, long story short, my husband canceled that appointment and decided to go Marine Corps instead.

Now we are married and have a one year old daughter and are stationed in K-Bay, Hawaii. Since I never got to finish college, I don't really have a "skill" and more and more I've been thinking of enlisting... The thing is that I -really- don't want to join the Marine Corps. Go figure.

People keep reassuring me that if I went Navy I could become a corpsman and they would always move me where my husband goes and vice-versa. I wouldn't care so much if it were just the two of us, but I want to keep our family living together.

Is this likely?

Also, since the Natl Guard doesn't station you, per se, would that play out better instead? Would I just be reassigned to a different guard unit at our next location when my husband's orders in Hawaii are up?

I would appreciate responses from military only, as I trust your judgment and thoughts on this matter to be more accurate and your experience more relevant. Thank you!
