...martial arts)? i am so good at point karate that i can score a point whenever i want! i always land a clean fast strike and score the point! my opponents always try to score a point on me but my blocking skills are awesome so they never do! i want to be an mma champion now, i think my skills will translate quite well. what do you think? any tips from point karate experts who went mma? thanks!

1 in what circuit? I know more #1 rated point karate champions than I do people actually studying in the arts anymore. Being #1 doesn't mean anything anymore unless you earned it from a reputable sanctioned event. Which event? Also your claim at scoring points whenever you want really wants to make me at least see videos of you fighting...

Point fighting is not the same as MMA and I have had several #1 students as you put it go into that realm. Some did very well over the years and others have not. It all depends on your ability to open your mind, learn the training and application differences and getting actual experience.

Oh yeah, one other thing, you need to be able to take an actual hit...not a tag or tap like in point karate.
