...tragic events? I think it was a Christmas special. I thought it was Richard & Judy's, but it was not. It had red background, red couch, christmas lights, I believe - and he was asked if there is anything he will not joke about, possibly. He quoted someone or so, about how if there is something you can't laugh about, it will get the best of you.

Please, please help me if you know which interview this was!
