My new LED TV seems a little choppy when watching a HD TV broadcast. The quality is excellent. Is this normal?
Also, when playing a non-Blue -Ray DVD through my Blue-Ray system, it will stop half way through the movie and freeze the picture. Nothing I do will get it to go past this point.
If I put the disk in a standard DVD player, the movie does not freeze. This has happened on only two disks so far but I never know when I start a movie if it will do it again.

The automotion, trumotion, etc., can cause the chop. So find what your tv calls the motion blur reduction feature and turn it way down or off, that should fix the chop.

The stopping blu rays is usually something wrong with the blu ray player. Check thru the owner's manual for the player and set up it's internal video settings to match your tv, then it may work better. And always wash off the dvds before playing, blu ray players are very sensitive to any smudges and dirt on the disks.
