...branson, missouri (ozarks)? I am looking for a romance book from the mid to late 90s that I never finished reading. It took place in branson, missouri or another area of the ozarks. A lady is returning home and she is thinking back to her high school days where a football player was her boyfriend. I remember in the begining of the book she is describing the highway leading south to branson was gray. A highway that I personally drive all the time. I would like to find this book again, but I dont know the author or the title. I think it said the author was from the ozarks as well.
