I bought an iphone 3GS on may 6th 2010, can i upgrade to the iPhone 4 for free?

I live in canada and im on virgin mobile, i just bought a contract free iphone 3GS for $599.99 from virgin mobile and only to find out that later that month the iphone 4 was coming out, would apple upgrade my phone for free because i bought it really close to when the 4 came out? what are my options???

You don't have options.Apple sure as hell isn't going to just swap it for you and you're well beyond the return period.
