Make sure your PC has a blu ray player, since a dvd player won't work. Also be sure you're playing the disc and not accidentally trying to rip it, which might bring up the "protected" prompt.
Unfortunately, I don't think you can watch Blu-Ray films on your computer (unless you have a disc reader specifically designed for Blu-Ray). You need a Blu-Ray player to watch Blu-Ray discs!
