I copied a DVD to my computer and....?

It goes really fast as if its fast fowarding. Any ideas to why it would do this? I copied and pasted the DVD to my C Drive by the way.
 
maybe for some reason it decided to only copy half the frames but plays at normal framerate, when I copied a dvd it copied in german with japanese subtitles in the wrong aspect ratio for some reason, and the second time round instead of the normal audio it played the director's commentary that I didn't even know was on the dvd o.O
