Why did the chicken cross the road?

To get to the other side...
Also, I don't get this one too.

"Guess what?"
"Chicken Butt.."
Someone told me it's because it rhymes...

Why did I cross the road? To avoid you, and to get to the other side. So, you see, the chicken may have crossed the road for any number of reasons. maybe she saw a worm across the road, or maybe a rooster.
whatever the reason, the chicken's most basic reason for crossing the road was to get to the other side

There was a Saturday Night Live skit featuring Guess What? Chicken Butt, shortly after Home Alone came out - and starred McCaully Culkin - also included - Guess Who - Chicken Poo - and Guess Where - Chicken Hair (and no, chickens do not have hair)
