and straight across? I don't know how it happened but my kids get on here sometimes and they are 4,3, and 11/2 and they just push buttons. When I click on a link that opens a new window or anthing like that instead of it being like the shape of a square that may need maximized, it it all the way across the screen from top to about 5 inches down. Then you can maximize it, but it just looks weird and since it only coves pretty much the toolbar part it is confusing when you are not used to it. I don' t know where to go to fix this. I think it has to do with computer settings rather than internet options because even opening like my windows address book and stuff like that does the same thing. Can anyone help?

For some reason, the window was made that size and kept that way for a few minutes and now it is stuck in memory. What you need to do is open a new Internet window and stretch it to the size you want. Don't maximize it, just stretch it and leave it there for a few minutes, 5 to 10 should work and then close it. The next time it opens, it should open to that size.
