I don't like to show PDA at school?

My boyfriend of one week always wants to hold me or hug me ALL THE TIME at school, and I really like hugs and all that but not at school or in very public places. But we don't really see each other out side of public setting because his parents are extremely strict and they don't like me and blah blah blah.... Anyway how can I tell him I'm uncomfortable with PDA without hurting his feelings + it's his birthday tmrw
 
PDA is gross... like if you're doing it ALL the time, that's a little overboard and I think you should take that somewhere else where others can't see. Tell him to stop.
 
Don't tell him on his birthday!! You should have addressed this issue earlier. Anyway... You probably just need to explain to him the way you feel about PDA. I don't like PDA because when I see a girl getting felt up in public, I think to myself,"Wow, that's CLASSY. What a sophisticated young lady." (sarcastically, of course). My boyfriend feels this way, too. He doesn't want to disrespect me and make me look un-lady-like in public, so the only PDA we ever show is holding hands. If its dark and we're walking together, he might give me a peck on the cheek or lips (but only if no one's looking, hehe). Just tell him that your hugs and affection are for HIM to see, not for everyone at school to see.
