dishes? I know she's 8 months pregnant and has the flu but those sound like excuses to me. It seems like she can't do anything right anymore.....
 
I would just tell her " honey, I know you're pregnant with a flu and maybe that's why the dishes are kind of dirty when you done washing, but can you double check next time to make sure they are clean." She shouldnt get mad and she should say ok I'll double check. If it still continues, then she sucks at dishes lol and it seems like you have to take over
