i downloaded avi divx mpeg to dvd converter and everytime i try to burn a dvd

it says please insert blank dvd? please insert blank dvd but i already have one in


how do i fix this please give detailed instructionssss! thanks

first what is your need

1. do you want to burn the downloaded videos and watch them on DVD Player
.
2. do u want to just convert the video
.

***** to DVD converters will convert all files to VOB files and will burn the DVD automatically after conversion which asks you for a blank media DVD.

dont go for extream softwares just nero 7 will do everything
.
i have burned more that 4000 DVD with nero and i have faced no problem
.
But for converting dnt
use nero use xilisoft HD Converter

Maybe the DVDs arent compatible or maybe they have files already written on them.
