Okay, yes, I have an imaginary friend who's a damned good conversationalist. Anyway, last night I dreamt I was with a few of my (real) friends, and she was calling me on my cell phone, and her name came up on my Caller ID. When I picked up, her voice was kind of timid, like she couldn't think of the right words to say, so we couldn't really hold a conversation. I haven't, uh, talked to her about it yet.
Why would I dream of an *imaginary* friend as something real? Why was her voice so shaky, and why was she stumbling over words? This is a new one for me, since most of my dreams tend to be very similar, often all revolving around the same themes and people (especially my ex, who just will not stay out of my dreams), and I'm used to having very similar dreams repeatedly. Having one that's new like this is something of a miraculous thing for me, and its content kind of intrigues me.
So, anyone have any thoughts?
