I gave up listening to Christian music?

I used to be very into Christian music, but everytime I got more and more disappointed by it. Every music group or whatever seemed to be just an immitation of everything out there in the "secular" world. The thing that I found most bothering is that most or a lot of Christian musicians listen a lot to "secular" music and almost no Christian music... and they expect us to buy and listen to their cheap imitative stuff.

Not all, but the majority.

There are exceptions of course.

Have you ever felt this way about Christian music? why or why not?

Most of the "Christian" music I listen to is actually classical music ("Jesus bleibet meine freude"). Other than that, I don't listen to Christian music.
 
i wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

It reeks of christian summer camps & revivals playing on musical climaxes, smoke, and lights to get converts.
 
Congratulation. Please try to listen to Quran recitation and try understand its meanings.
