I get on really well with my dads girlfriend?

ok so my mom and dad have bad history (to cus a long story short my mom had a affair and has bin living with the guy for about 3 years) i have been living with dad for bout 6 months but my mum lives about a mile away my mum is preety cool and i can tell her anything but she doesent seem 2 have time for me and only wants me when it suits her but my dads gf is awesome she is soooooooooo lovely and cool but where does this leave my mum
 
I guess it leaves your mom in the dust... same place she's left YOU, it seems.

Do what you like to do and take care of YOU... you are not responsible for your mother, and you need to do what suits you. So, if spending time with your dad and his friend is pleasureable, do it.

Your mom will always be your mom....no matter what happens, no matter who your dad is involved with, and no matter what terrible choices your mom has made or is making.

It's fantastic that you get along with your dad's gf though! If you have found a friend or confidante in her, then you are doing really well, and you are lucky!

Your relationship with your dad's gf is separate from your relationship with your mom...they do not have to be the same, they do not have to be equal, and you should not feel bad or guilty about either relationship!!!
