I get the distinct impression he's losing interest in me, what do you think?

I started seeing a lovely guy around 3 weeks ago. We both hit it off and have got on so well ever since. Every time I see him he says he adores me and that he is "falling" for me.

However I've noticed past week the contact is somewhat deteriorating. He is busy at work I know that, but surely not that busy to send the odd text?

I sent a text the other day asking why he was quiet, he said he is busy at work and would text me in the morning.

We never ring each other, he works night shifts and I have children so it is difficult I suppose.

I'm seeing him Monday next but just feel there is some distance growing in what I thought could be a blossoming relationship.

I'm keeping my feet firmly on the ground, he tells me how he likes me etc but right now I'm not taking it in just in case I get my fingers burned.

I'd like to ask if you think I am being silly here? I do get paranoid that's in my nature. Thanks
 
no, you aint being silly my dear.
you're just keeping on guard, which I think is good actually.

He might really be busy, hence the lesser contact.
Try to find out from his actions when you see him.
If you can't figure him out, be cool and ask him rather than worrying about it.
 
I always think the excuse being busy is a very lame one not to contact someone, yea ok he may be working and not allowed his phone, but it only takes a minute to text some so he could do this on a break or his lunch.
Can I ask why you dont ring each other? And does he only text if a night time when hes at work, if so could mean maybe he has a wife or gf at home.
Just be careful take it slowly and see where it goes, it maybe he just wants to take things slowly himself
 
Being paranoid. My boyfriend works the nightshift and i understand how busy he gets and then how tired he is the next day.
