I got a map turtle today from my local exotic pet shop and?

I had some questions about my turtle, I've had a turtle before but I was really young. Now I'm older and got another one. He's friendlier than I thought he would be. When it gets warmer outside is it okay to bring him outside in the grass with me? Also is it okay to bring him out of his cage for a couple of minute everyday to get him more used to the surroundings and me and my boyfriend? He seems to be very scared of my boyfriend but very relaxed around me. He just sits their and puts his head on my finger, but he tries to bite my boyfriend. And can I put other little fish in the tank with him. not many I just want to get like 2 or 3. The sucker fish we got that cleans the tank, he doesn't seen to be bothered with since he was used to him at the pet store tank.
 
tortoises like the grass more than turtles do however giving him an outdoor kiddy pool to play in would be nice and a good bonding place for your new baby and your boyfriend. Sucker fish are a good idea and if you get other fish make sure they are bigger than your turtle can eat b/c he will probably eat them. My turtle Aladdin does that to the guppies but we got them for that purpose.
