suicidesurvival.Which folder should i put ? So i just downloaded Half Life 2 using torrent ( not from steam ) . I heard that game got many mods . Which is one of my favourite is suicide survival . To play that mod , it need half life 2 on steam . So which folder should i put the half life 2 ?

*Well , do tell me where to put mods such as garry's mod and stanley parable ?
 
If you torrented the game, then Steam will not allow you to play it. That's because Steam keeps a master list of all the games you legitimately bought from them. The folder to put it in is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\ If you have a 32-bit OS, then cut the "(x86)" out. I can't say for sure what will happen to your account when Steam notices you are playing an illegally-gotten game, but hey, it's not my problem.
 
Better buy the game legally. Half Life 2 usually goes 75% off during Summer/Winter sales
 
Half life costs $2 in one of the many sales, and yet you still torrent it? Anyway, you can't attempt to put it on steam and if you did, valve would ban you. They have ways of finding out and trust me they will.
 
I wouldn't do that. Good way to get yourself banned for life - never be able to buy it even if you had the money.
