I have a 2000 chevrolet cavalier cp. It starts but when i put it in gear, drive or

reverse it shuts off.? I hear a virbration, now sure how to really explain, but there is a noise.

Some friend had this problem... If your car is automatic.. you need toreplace a hose or something like that that goes to the transmission and it cost my friend around 75 buks.. Just make sure is that before you jump into any conclusions.. if your car is standard.. all I could say it might be in the clutch or something idk..

Say a prayer and hope its not the torque converter in the transmission.
Or something else locked up in your transmission.
